Bess Wills, General Manager, is continuing the Gresham Ford Love Project into July 2020. “We’ve celebrated Moms and Dads. Now we are looking to celebrate coming together with a Splashing Good Time.”
This year has really flown by for Gresham Ford. Adjusting to the challenges of Covid have kept us busy. We were awarded the President’s Award from Ford Motor Company. The all electric Mach-E arrived and we continue to wait to see the new Bronco.
However, we started the year with a simple idea. The Gresham Ford staff wanted to spread as much love around the Gresham area as possible. Not only to those who live in Gresham but also to those who choose to run their businesses in Gresham. The dealership staff comes in contact with a multitude of Gresham area business owners. Being the number one work truck and van brand causes these kinds of things. Encouraging shopping local and supporting each other was an additional important aspect to achieve. The Love Project was born. The Gresham Outlook has been kind enough to share our story with a number of stories published in their paper.

Our first event was held in February. If you have ever spent anytime at the Ford Dealership, you know we love food. After a quick and solid consensus, the decision was made to provide local restaurant gift certificates to 10 lucky couples. By happenstance the love holiday launched the Love Project.

In March we drew ten of the most adorable winners from some young local artists who entered our coloring contest. They received locally curated Easter Baskets thanks to Bess. Visiting Gresham iCandy and The Gresham Toy Shop felt so good. Supporting other small businesses in Gresham is important to our community recovering. For the month of April, we offered a Spring Spruce Up drawing. We were given the opportunity to award a handful of lucky winners with some yard maintenance, clean up and haul away services. May was made to celebrate Mom’s and we are no different. Our special group of Mom’s each won a spa day from a local salon or spa of their choice. We are all about equality at Gresham Ford and celebrated the outstanding Father’s of Gresham with gift cards to White’s Meats.
