Apple of His Eye Charity calls Gresham home. Their drive and mission to help orphans and widows in developing countries. This specific fundraiser is being earmarked to help provide bikes to those in need. Bikes are a key mode of transportation in developing nations. School, clean drinking water, and the local market are often miles away. A bicycle opens up new opportunities for education and access to basic needs by making these miles more accessible and safe. A bicycle is a gift of time, a gift of less aches and pains, and a gift of love. What better way to raise money for bikes for kids in India and Rwanda than to Cycle for a Cause!
Event Details
Everyone is encouraged to participate. Families, recreational bicyclers, and serious riders alike are welcome for a scenic ride starting at St. Josef’s Winery. This is one of our favorite charity rides with music, food, and celebration afterwards. Join with or even without a bike!
Gresham Ford and Cycle for a Cause
Isn’t not a lot but we think it is an important part of the event. Gresham Ford is providing bottled water for the charity event as part of the Contribute to the Community Program.
