Our teachers are the cornerstone of our community. They are responsible for shaping the future of our next generation. So, we challenged ourselves to figure out a way to recognize them for their hard work, dedication and the “above and beyond” sacrifices our teachers exhibit on a day to day basis. Providing safe transportation with a new set of tires was what we came up with.
We plan to recognize a teacher from a different district each quarter, our first winners were recognized at Reynolds High School this past Monday! Principal Wade Bakley worked with us to develop a process to nominate and choose winners chosen by their co-workers and faculty.
And the Winners are:
Superstar Award: $600 toward the purchase of a set of four select tires, mount and balanced. – The recipient was ERIC MOFFAT.
Outstanding Achievement Award: $100 Gift Certificate towards any service at Gresham Ford Quick Lane for all Makes and Models. – The recipient was DEB TAVARES.
Above & Beyond Rockstar: $50 Gift Certificate towards any service at Gresham Ford Quick Lane for all makes and Models. – The recipient was ANDREW LONG.
In presenting this award we want to ensure our teacher’s safe travel as they commute every day to teach our kids. Having a new set of tires will give them confidence in our wet, Northwest weather on those slick roads. And keeping a vehicle regularly serviced can be one of those things that just doesn’t seem to fit into the schedule most days. That’s why our Quick Lane is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-10 p.m. where we do maintenance on all Makes and Models. Our comfortable waiting rooms have free WiFi, coffee, and popcorn and everyone gets 50% off the first oil change for any vehicle that has not been in our Service Department. We even have a 12-month interest free credit card!
