2021 Ford Presidents Award WInner

 Gresham Ford is one of just four Oregon Ford dealerships to be awarded the coveted Ford President’s Award in 2021.  And this isn’t the first time either.  Since Bess Wills became the General Manager and Co-Owner of Gresham Ford, they have been designated with this honor four times. 

What does the Ford President’s Award mean?

Ford uses the annual President’s Award to recognize dealers who exceed caring for their sales and service customers.  This national award also requires dealerships to meet and exceed their sales expectations.   Only Ford dealers who provide the highest level of customer satisfaction are even considered.  Ford requires at least 60 completed Customer View Point Surveys annually even to be considered. 

100% Sales Effectiveness for combined Car and Trucks in a calendar year is another feat that must be achieved in order to be qualified for the honor.  Gresham Ford is humbled by this award and is thankful and appreciative to all the customers who purchased and serviced their vehicles. 

Achieving a Customer Experience Index Score greater that the Portland Metro Area average Ford Dealer Score is the last box that must be checked in order to be considered for the President’s Award from Ford Motor Company. 

Many dealerships will never even be awarded one award, let alone four.  Considering that the Ford Dealerships in the Portland Metro market are often separated by less than 10 miles, it is an achievement to be recognized above others in the market.  The award was created in 1998 to acknowledge Ford Dealerships that provide their communities with exceptional service and car buying experiences.  America has just over 3,000 across the country.  Only four dealers within the state of Oregon have been awarded with the honor this year.  It is estimated that the top 10% of dealerships are acknowledged each year. 

Representatives from Ford Motor Company were on hand Friday, September 17th, 2021 to award Bess, Preston, and the team at Gresham Ford the award demonstrating their achievement of excellence.
