Gresham Ford is a proud co-sponsor of the 2019 Gresham High School Homecoming Tailgate party being held at Riverview Community Bank in Gresham.
Homecoming is a great time to recognize all the positive things our kids are doing in the community and in their personal development. Riverview Bank and Gresham Ford have both built these business on community relationships and believe they can make the community a better place by getting involved.
Over 300 kids are expected from:
- Varsity Football
- JV Football
- Football Coaching Staff
- Cheerleading squad
- Dance Team
- Band
- Youth Football Varsity Team, 8thgraders
Having a catered meal and recognition for all the positive things our kids are accomplishing is just one way both of these businesses are helping to make the Gresham Community better.
What is Homecoming?
The tradition of Homecoming is one of welcoming back former students and members as well as celebrating an organization’s existence. As an American tradition, homecoming has become a time for reflection and community.
In the Gresham community this is a chance for former students to visit their former teachers and impart wisdom to the upcoming generation of Gresham residents.
Why Sponsor?
Gresham Ford chooses to sponsor events like this tailgate party because it provides positive affirmation for our students. Bess originally went to school for Early Childhood Education and is passionate about children being our future. The Ford dealership also sponsors a number of students who are participating in the MHCC ASSET program for aspiring Ford Technicians. With the assistance of scholarships and a part-time job in the industry while they study, Bess is fostering the next generation of Ford technicians.
When you see a young person doing something positive, please recognize them for it. The outlook of the next generation depends upon it.
