Oregon Ford Dealers along with the Northwest Ford Dealers Association band together annually to hold a Peanut Butter Drive.  During summer months, children across the state are traditionally out of school.  Families across Oregon including Gresham depend upon public school free or reduced lunch programs to ensure that children have enough to eat.

Ford Focus on Child Hunger

The idea to focus on peanut butter has helped to simplify the message and awareness of childhood hunger across our region.  Since 2014, the Northwest Ford Dealers Association has collected more than 280,000 pounds of peanut butter.  Helping to feed children throughout the summer months.  As a key component of the larger Ford Focus on Child Hunger campaign.

It is also high in calories and heart healthy fats.  As a food that is low in carbs it is a great option for those with diabetes.  In fact the National Peanut Butter Board identifies it as a great food pantry item due to is extended shelf stable life.
