The 2.4-kW system is standard on Pro as well as the XLT model, and provides 8 power outlets.

What is Ford Pro Power Onboard?

The 2021 Ford F-150 introduces an innovative feature known as Pro Power Onboard. This groundbreaking technology transforms Ford's renowned pickup truck into a portable generator, capable of supplying power to a wide array of electrical tools, appliances, devices, and systems. With Pro Power Onboard, convenience reaches new heights, offering value in work sites, outdoor adventures, and everyday scenarios by transferring energy from the truck's running engine or battery pack (F-150 Hybrid) to a set of outlets positioned in the truck bed.

Equipped with the 2.0-kW system, the truck's engine powers a pair of 120-volt, three-prong outlets located in the truck bed. This robust system supplies up to 2,000 watts of energy to any devices connected, representing a significant improvement over the standard 400 watts typically available from truck bed outlets. This enhanced power capability opens doors to numerous applications, ranging from light construction projects and landscaping to tailgating and camping.
