Test Drives

Temporary hand controls are available upon request for test drive purposes. Please provide up to 48 hours of notice to ensure availability. Contact Us to submit a request for hand controls or additional accessibility assistance.

Get up to $1,000 Reimbursement

The Ford Accessibility Program offers a sundry of adaptive vehicles and upfits to meet different needs, budgets, and lifestyles. Ford Motor Company offers $1,000 reminbursement on adaptive equipment, or up to $200 on hearing devices, lumbar support or running boards*. Helping you claim your independence is our goal.

Customer Eligibility

The end-user of the new Ford vehicle must be the individual in need of the adaptive equipment that requires installation. The end user may also be a organization, church, assisted living facility, nursing home, municipality, city, state, or federal government.

Ford Motor Company's goal is to help you achieve your maximum reimbursement based on your needs. The reimbursement process has been designed to be easy and efficient. Please reach out to a Gresham Ford Sales and Leasing staff member with any questions or assistance.

Eligible Ford Vehicles

Eligible Vehicles - Only new model Ford Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Vans, or CUVs are eligible for the Ford Accessibility Program. The program also requires you to have the adaptive equipment be installed within one year of the new Ford purchase or lease.

Ineligible Vehicles - Used vehicles are not eligible for the Ford Accessibility Program. This includes previous rental, leased, or repurchased vehicles. Please contact us directly with any questions regarding eligibility.

Adaptive Equipment Eligibility

Adaptive equipment includes installed devices and or structural modifications that are helpful for a person with permanent special needs in order to drive or to be driven in a vehicle. The following are examples but by no means a comprehensive list:

  • Hand Controls
  • Lifts
  • Parking Brakes
  • Power Assist Seats
  • Steering Devices
  • Wheelchair Restraints
